Wetland Experience Exchange Congress 2019 (20th Anniversary event of Guandu Nature Park)

The Congress together with the 7th Wetland Link International (WLI) Asia Conference was organized by the Ramsar Regional Center – East Asia (RRC-EA) in cooperation with the Taipei City Government and Wild Bird Society of Taipei.

Hong Kong Wetlands Conservation Association (HKWCA) attended the Congress as a member of the Wetland Link International (WLI).

​

The Congress featured diverse case studies from various countries on wetland conservation and CEPA (communication, capacity building, education, participation and awareness).

* WLI is a global network of wetland centers founded in 1991 by Wildfowl and Wetland Trust (WWT) and supporters. It is endorsed by the Ramsar Convention as a key mechanism that supports wetland education centers in implementing CEPA activities at wetland sites.
